Power of positive thought......It's working!

Ok,
I've been very mindful of being grateful and reminding myself to think positive. Before sleeping I think about 3 good things that happened during my day. I have to say.......my dreams are much more vivid! I have also noticed that I feel so much better all around! Every morning and every night, I am reminding myself of the positive. This really works and is such a simple thing to do. I highly reccomend this practice. Make it a part of your routine. It's simple and effective.
                                                                                                                                          Smiles

Happiness

I recently read an article about increasing happiness by using a simple exercise at bed time. This was studied and applied by a Harvard grad! Here's what you do: right as you are getting ready to sleep, bring to mind 3 good things that happened during your day. Analyze how or why these things happened. By doing this simple exercise it was found that it really works! You can learn happiness......... It was found that the person's overall moods were much happier. Happiness is something we create. It's a choice. It was also reported that dreaming was much more lucid. All this, just by focusing on the good!

I'm certainly going to do this. I'll report my findings in about a week for any of you who are interested!

Wishing a great day to all!

Being in the moment

How much of our time is spent thinking, analyzing, trying to control, and being afraid? If you have ever had the experience of being fully present/in the moment, then you know none of these things are important. For when we fully allow ourselves to be in the moment, to be at one with all that is, all of our negativity dissapears and we are able to be in the presence of God. This is our true state of being and the one that God meant for us to experience.
Remind yourself that God is love and that our connection to the source of creation is within all of life. There is no such thing as good and evil. Everything in the universe has it's place, even if we do not yet understand what that place is. Many preceive posionous plants as "bad" something negitive, yet without these plants we could not make many medicines that we have today. This is a mind set made by man in the physical state of being. We preceive good and evil according to our judgements. We must seek to understand that there is a reason that God does not intervene........ God gave this world to us freely and with love.......God gave us free will....we must seek to be in the present moment to understand God and our true selves.
God is not to blame for the injustice in our world. We are. To blame is wrong. We were created in God's image, out of love. We have chosen to turn away from this source, to be independant and seperate, therefore we abandon this great source of love and creation and we rob ourselves of knowing how real relationships are meant to work. Real relationship does not involve judgement, control, selfishness or fear. Once we surrender these needs we will be able to know true oneness with all. We will experience and hear the voice of God within.
